The Ministry of Rural Development and Food (MRDF) is responsible for agricultural policy and safety of agricultural (food) products in Greece. MRDF implements horizontal and vertical legislation in the area of food and feed and is responsible for the coordination of food safety inspections, in cooperation with EFET.
